Building for Bodies, Not Diagrams

Design never actually meets its users inside the pristine perfection of a CAD file; it meets them out in the world, in constant, unpredictable motion. It encounters them in the organic rotation of human shoulders, the shifting weight of hips, the imperfect strength of a grip, a delayed reaction time, and the inevitable onset of physical fatigue. Biomechanics is never an optional variable in engineering. If a safety system only functions properly when human bodies behave ideally, it is guaranteed to fail in the messy reality of the real world.
Because of this, Evan deliberately designs for slippage, asymmetry, misalignment, fatigue, and sudden surprise. He doesn't do this because people are careless, but simply because human bodies are human. A safety system must be profoundly human-compatible long before it can ever be considered technically correct.
