Why 2027 Feels Right

We are not aiming for an arbitrary calendar date; we are aiming for absolute readiness. True readiness cannot be measured by speed, marketing excitement, or project momentum. Instead, it is defined by confidence under conditions of uncertainty. It is the quiet certainty of knowing that when things go wrong—because they eventually will—the mechanical system will fail gently, predictably, and safely.
Achieving this standard means knowing that our handlers will never have to compensate for hidden design gaps with their own physical strength, split-second attention, or sheer luck. Most importantly, it ensures that animals will never pay for engineering shortcuts with their bodies. This level of structural integrity and peace of mind takes time. The year 2027 feels right to us not because it is far away, but because it is exactly far enough to allow us to be careful.
